Our History

Our golf course came to be a century ago when established in 1915. This Donald Ross inspired course continues to challenge both beginner and professional golfers. Willow Springs Country Club has brought over a 100 years of significance to golf and its surrounding communities. Featured above is an aerial view of Willow Springs Country Club in 1952.

Professional Experience

Owner and Director of Golf, Jimmy Gurkin, is a lifetime member of the PGA with over 40 years experience and a PGA class A certified professional. Take advantage of our golf-teaching programs which includes one on one instruction and specialized clinics. 

 

Pro shop and Golf Services

Our proshop staff can meet the golfer's needs with a wide range of services such as custom club fittings, club repair, rental clubs, and a computerized handicap service. For specialized instruction or just practice, you will find beautifully manicured practice putting green, practice and chipping greens and a nearby driving range with yardage markers for short game practice. 

 

Swimming

Members and their guests can have some summer fun at our large swimming pool equipped with a diving board, restrooms, baby pool, picnic areas, trained lifeguards, and shelter from the sun.

 

Dining & Special Events 

Our full service snack bar offers deli style sandwiches, hotdogs, and grilled burgers, with snacks and drinks. Dining areas are available inside or outside on the patio. The dining room and ballroom are elegantly decorated with traditional southern-styled elements and finishes, rich colors, and beautiful hardwood floors. We can accommodate small and large functions with 30 years of expertise in weddings, reunions, business meetings, conferences, tradeshows, tournament outings, and holiday events.
